TourRadar relies on conventional filter-based search. For a hackathon, I wanted to test whether travellers could search the way they actually talk, describing the trip they want instead of clicking through dropdowns. The goal was a conversational interface that understood intent and returned relevant multi-day tours.
This was a solo build, start to finish, in two days. I designed the interaction and the conversational flow, then prototyped it end to end using TourRadar's MCP to access tour data and Vertex AI to handle natural language understanding. This covered everything from concept to a working prototype using Claude Code.
